Dr. Punam Krishan’s glitzy Strictly party at The Exchange, Glasgow

In 2024 Dr. Punam Krishan announced she was going to be on Strictly Come Dancing. What better way to celebrate than to have a party. And the best time to do it? When the launch show was going to televised and everyone would find out who her partner was going to be. Now, as I’m writing this, we know that her partner was Gorka Márquez and that they did incredibly well. Getting to week 6 of the competition.

Anyway, back to the party. JB Marketing Consultancy asked if I was available to pop along to take some photos of her celebrating the launch. Of course! How could I miss this?

The party was at The Exchange in Glasgow City Centre. The perfect spot for this kind of celebration. That stunning gold, glittery backdrop that you see in the pictures, was supplied by OTT Balloons, along with the gorgeous array of ballons and glitter balls. I hope you’ll agree when I say that the backdrop is an absolute show stopper. I really do love photographing a party. Not only was this a fantastic celebration because she was going to be on one of the biggest dancing shows ever, you could really feel how all of her friends and family that came out to support her, have so much love for her. And yes! I had a tear in my eye when Dr. Punam’s son gave an emotional speech to kick everything off. So here’s to your fantastic achievement Dr. Punam. I hope you still manage to have a little boogie here and there.
