So where do we start?...

Hello and thank you so much for your enquiry. It means a lot that you would like to find out more about my pricing and what packages I offer. Picking the right photographer can take time, so hopefully I am able to help you out and we can get to know each other more. So get a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and settle in :)

To simplify the whole process for you, I charge a flat rate for full day wedding coverage or if you are eloping and just looking for an hourly rate, then no problem, I do that too! The hourly rate means you are in control of how many continuous hours coverage you need. We would just need to discuss where you are getting married to determine the exact amount of coverage required.

We live in a digital world, and I am a (mostly) digital girl...

The wedding packages I offer are purely digital. Why, I hear you ask? Well for a couple of reasons. Sometimes USBs aren't reliable and can corrupt, some laptops don't have USB ports anymore for some weird reason and when you have downloaded your high resolution files, I know that you have at least one copy of the edited images saved. That's important for me to know and you don't just have a USB stuffed in a drawer somewhere. Your final gallery always has low resolution versions of the edited files (ideal for uploading to straight to social media if you like), and I also send you the high resolution images separately via WeTransfer.

So here is a little breakdown of each to help you decide what the right option is for you:

Full Day Wedding - £1525

  • pre wedding meeting to discuss more about your wedding
  • complimentary engagement shoot around Scotland's central belt
  • 2 hours of prep for one person (your partner's prep can be covered if a second shooter is requested)
  • typically coverage of ceremony through to first hour of your evening reception
  • selection of previews for you to enjoy until final gallery is completed
  • edited digital files of final gallery
  • a small selection of prints packaged and sent directly to you

OR

Hourly Coverage - £250 per hour

  • pre wedding chat to discuss the right amount of continuous coverage
  • coverage of discussed hours
  • selection of previews for you to enjoy until final gallery is completed
  • edited digital files of final gallery
  • a small selection of prints packaged and sent directly to you

NB: For international/credit card payments, please note that a small transaction fee may apply. However I use TransferWise in order to keep the costs as low as possible for you.

To have a second shooter or not...

Second shooters are great. They can be there to capture photos of your partner getting ready and get a lot of extra candid shots throughout your wedding. It isn't essential for me to bring along a second photographer, however I normally suggest that if there are going to be 100+ guests, I would strongly recommend we get one for your wedding. This is mainly down to your wedding timeline. A lot of candid shots might be something you are really keen on but you also require a lot of group shots or your speeches/dinner is planned a short time after the ceremony then this is where a second shooter is ideal. To add a second shooter, there is a charge of £275. This fee goes entirely to the second shooter. Maybe check out my video on top FAQs where I talk about the benefits of having a second shooter.

Sounds good so far, right? Great, you're ready for the next step...

Feel free to take a look through the gallery that I've sent you in the email, or a blog post, just so that you get a feel for my style of photography and what you can expect for your wedding gallery. Once you are ready to book, I’ll take your details to create your contract & invoice. The deposit is typically £500 (or if you choose the hourly rate option, it would be 50% of the total fee). As soon as I receive your signed contract and booking fee, your wedding date in the diary. Simples!

What is a photo book?

Well, it’s a stylish album with a stunning high quality print finish. After you're final gallery has been delivered, I can select images that best tell the story of your wedding and you will get the chance to make changes to the online proofs before it finally goes to print. It is a beautiful way for being able to revisit those memories. The album in this video example below is 10x10 inch and is priced at £450. Other sizes are also available. If you would like to add one on to your package, then just let me know.
