Photographing Knockraich Farm in Fintry, is such a lovely experience; it’s a great space. The light is quite special for some reason. I’m not sure if it is the skylights that have been put in, maybe it is the roaring fire in the log burner as you walk in. It is a spectacular venue. Even though I was shooting stills, I also shot some ‘behind the scenes’ video too. You check that out > here <.
The farm is a working farm, it also has a cafe with lots of gorgeous food and cakes. They sell natural artisan dairy products that you can click & collect. I could go on, but have a look for yourself.
A little word about the suppliers involved! They are phenomenal. Hair & makeup was done by Make up by Hannahbe and the dresses/feathery layer top were made by Dragonfly Dress Design (I’m really sad that Lisa is no longer making these beautiful vintage dresses). The kilts, socks, jackets, socks and shoes were all supplied by Kilts 4 U. The cake (ooh that masterpiece of a cake <3) was created by Rosewood Cakes. The flowers/buttonhole were kindly supplied by Best Buds Florist in Chapelton and you may have noticed those gorgeous pieces of jewellery and headpieces. These were handmade by Sweet Rosie Jewellery (that’s the earrings, rings, bracelets & cufflinks) but the headpieces were made by Corrine Smith. Obviously all of these look as good as they do thanks to our gorgeous models Alex & Robbie, as well as the gorgeous backdrop of the Tin Shed. It’s those fairy lights man…. I’m in heaven!
Anyway, on that note, here are the photographs from the shoot.
