Whimsical winter wedding at City Chambers, Montrose Street, Glasgow
It’s January. The air is cold and it is grey outside. However, inside the City Chambers at 23 Montrose Street it is warm and cozy. I love it when I get to photograph a wedding at the City Chambers. You can gather a few special people and celebrate getting married. Agustina & Russell wanted to have a legal ceremony and then have all of their friends and family be at a celebration the following year at One Devonshire Gardens.
I arrived and was greeted by Russell, who was looking dapper in his tartan ‘trews’ and dark blue velvet jacket. The flowers they had chosen were so brightly coloured and contrasted perfectly. When I found Agustina, she was in the waiting room and adding the finishing touches to her outfit. Her dress was beautifully embroidered with flowers and greenery that matched her bouquet. Russell appeared and we took a few photos of them before their ceremony. Even though we were able to get some after the ceremony, it was a lovely way to document that little bit before. When the excited nerves are there and you just can’t wait to walk in to the ceremony room together.
