Jason & Serena’s Wedding // Tintern, Wales

This year, Gary and I saw two of our friends getting married at St Michael’s church in Tintern, Wales which was so incredibly special for us.

Serena & Jason are huge fans of film (wait till you see their wedding cake).  Serena is a writer/filmmaker/actress.  She is also creative director of Secret Garden Pictures which has produced award winning short films.  Jason is a director/cinematographer and they met while filming together.  They are perfect for each other.

For their wedding they had opted to not have a photographer for the whole day as they have friends in the film industry that were taking photos and filming throughout the day.  However I was honoured to be asked to take their photos at Tintern Abbey – no pressure then, eh?! Tintern is a stunning village on the River Wye.  The Abbey is such a beautiful spot to pop in to.  It was one of the hottest days of the year but we had the bluest skies.  Perfection.
